Rowlands Gill Primary is a lovely, welcoming and supportive school: we pride ourselves on giving our children a warm, friendly and caring environment in which to learn and flourish. The children are at the centre of everything which we do. Our aim is to offer every child the chance to fulfil their potential both academically and personally, which is achieved by education of the ‘whole child’. The acquisition of knowledge and skills is the entitlement of every child, irrespective of ability or background. We strive to offer high quality teaching and exciting, stimulating experiences and we are extremely proud of the achievements of our children.
Our school has been located in its new building since 2007 and benefits from bright modern facilities, set in beautiful and extensive grounds and is fully accessible to all.

Autumn Leaf Animals
This afternoon, we went out into the field to look for certain autumn leaves, then brought them back into class to make animals out of the autumn leaves we found.
Maths- adding by bridging to ten.
In maths today, we have been adding two 1-digit numbers together by finding ten first. This then helped us to find the total, as we didn't need to count every individual counter.
RGPS Book Club – purchase books online
As you know we usually have a book fair in school during the autumn term. Pupils and parents are invited in to school to browse and purchase books and this helps to raise funds for the school. Unfortunately, due to the covid situation we are not able to have the book...

We used the autumn leaves we collected on Tuesday and some autumn coloured tissue paper to create candle holders, reusing glass jars. They look so effective!
