Science week
Across the week we built our own volcano then used a recipe of mintos and coke to create our own volcanic eruption. We were also lucky to have the STEM bus visit us where we explored the surface of the moon, with moon boots.
Comic Relief
We enjoyed marking Comic Relief by having a non uniform day to donate money and lots of us wearing red. We spoke about why we were fundraising for Comic Relief too.

Today we learnt all about Comic Relief and Red nose day. We talked about how important it was to support charities and how they help others in our local community as well as across the world.
Science Week : Moon Boots
The children in nursery listened to the story Whatever Next, we then went outside and made our own moon boots to go to the moon. They were quite tricky to balance on and the children showed great resilience and determination to keep trying and balance....
