Working With Clay
Our new topic is the Ancient Greeks- we are learning the skills to create a Greek coil pot as our final piece. Today, we used a range of sculpting techniques to shape and manipulate clay- these included: pinching, rolling and scoring.
Measurement
We have worked practically today, choosing appropriate equipment to measure different lengths and heights around school. We thought about which equipment would give us the most accurate measurements.
