Hi there Year 3! It’s Mr T!
When I was your age, if you had asked me, “Would you like to spend time away from school?” I might have said yes. I would have played games, played with my friends and family and would have loved the idea of not doing work. But now that I’m a little older (and a little more grey) I can’t tell you how much I have changed that opinion. And…I think you’re probably feeling the same too.
I miss you all so much. Even though I have only been teaching you for six weeks, you have left a big impression on me and I can’t wait to get back in the classroom. I’ve thought of lots more jobs for everyone in the class, to keep us busy. I hope you’re enjoying the work packs too. It’s the highlight of my week when I start to think, “What could possibly challenge the clever clogs in Year 3?”
Anyway…what have I been doing? Well, apart from keeping safe and secure with my family, I have been keeping in touch with all the Rowland’s Gill staff. We have meetings on Wednesdays, through the computer and it’s a really cool way to see how everyone is and what they’re doing.
This week I did some colour activities with my boys. We learned about primary and secondary colours and did some experiments mixing colours. It was great…but messy. Here’s a picture of Zac and Oscar enjoying their activity: they found the colour change pencils fascinating.

I check my emails all the time so you can always get a message sent to me using the school email address – I’d love to hear from you and find out what you’re doing.
I hope you all continue to keep safe and I can’t wait to see you all in class again.
Mr Treadwell
