Hi guys. Thanks for another lovely week. Here are your homework tasks for this week:

Maths- no proper maths work this week ( we’ve given you science work instead) but please keep up your work on the 3 times table. If you can remember all the multiplication facts can you  now learn all the division facts ?

English ( and kind of history too)- In our story, Stone Age Boy, we met Om. She is a stone age girl. What questions would you ask Om if you met her? Get a few ready for a class discussion about this on Friday.  We need at least 3 brilliant questions. Try, if possible, to link them to what we learned about ice age and stone age life in History this week (remember the bone with the horse carved on to it?).

Spelling: our spellings for this week are Year 4 Spelling list words:

remember, sentence, separate, special, straight, strange.

Check that you know their meaning then try ‘spelling them in the dark’ just like we have done in class. That’s a fun way to learn them and can be very amusing too. Remember if it’s too easy , swap hands!

Science Homework:
This week I’d like you to keep a food diary for three days.  All you have to do is note down what you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with any snacks you eat.
You can record it on a sheet of paper, in a note book or use the sheet here on the website.  If you want to, you can also type it up on a computer!
However you do it, it would be great if you could email a picture of it to school and ask the office to send it on to Mr Boddy!
Thanks – happy eating!

Enjoy! Any problems at all let us know.

Mrs Beattie and Mr Boddy.
