I hope you have all had a lovely Summer and are ready for the long-awaited return to school. The information which I sent out at the end of the summer term is all still relevant. I’m including a link to the letter here so that you can refresh your memory about how its going to work – September-Plans-4B-update

The key points are that the children should not bring anything other than a water bottle, coat and packed lunch (if they are not having school dinner) to school. They will wear their PE kit to school on the 2 days that they have PE (they do not need to wear plimsolls – trainers are fine). Your child’s class teacher will confirm the PE days with you next week. There will be no requirement to wear PE kit next week – it will be normal uniform all week.  You will also be told which day the children will change their reading book so that they only bring it in on that day.

Each class has a specific drop off and pick up time and place which is detailed on the letter. We need everyone to adhere to these times to support us with social distancing and keeping everyone safe. We have updated our Covid safety video to reflect the drop off and pick up system for returning to school. It is available to view in the ‘Letters to Parents’ section of the website and includes the key times.  If you have siblings and can’t manage with difficult drop off combinations, please get in touch.

We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday!

Mrs Clarke
