Hello to everyone in Year 3 (and parents too)!
It’s been an exciting and energetic return to school and so lovely to see you all where you belong!
I’m so proud of the way you have stayed so cheerful and adapted so well to all of the changes in school at the moment; you make me very proud!
I’d just like to share a few things you will need to know at the beginning of this term:
- There will be no PE, homework or reading books sent home this week.
- Year 3 will have PE on a Monday and a Thursday. On these days, children will come to school dressed for PE, wearing white tops and black shorts/tracksuit bottoms depending on the weather. Trainers can be worn for outside games in particular. Children will not need to bring their PE kits to school in bags.
- Homework will go up on the website every Thursday and will need to be completed by the following Thursday. Please complete work at home and be prepared to discuss it in class. Don’t send any written homework in to school please – we will review it verbally in class. If anyone is struggling with the homework please ask – we will always be happy to help.
- Reading books will be returned to school and exchanged each Monday. They will be quarantined before being given out again.
I hope this information proves useful. Please don’t hesitate to contact school if any more issues arise.
Mrs Lynch
