4B have been exploring The Adventures of Isabel by American poet Ogden Nash. We discussed the adventure she goes on, her absurd and hilarious encounters, the author’s brilliant use of rhyming couplets and the beautiful language in the poem. When we’d had our fill of Nash’s version of the poem, we wrote our own!
