During RE we have been exploring different aspects of worship through different religions. We started off by discovering the value or worth of something- it’s not the expensive things in life that we decided are worth more- our families and friends are of great worth to everyone. We listened to chants, mantras and a variety of music to learn how it is used in worship and how it makes us feel and discussed how art is used and then went on to create our own worship-inspired piece of art. We have also learned a lot about prayers, and artefacts and how they are used during worship. The children created some great art pieces and their own prayers.
