This half term, we have been learning about the Great Fire of London in our History lessons. We learned that many houses were made of wood which led to the fire spreading so quickly. In Design Technology, we then researched the design, structure and materials that were used to build Tudor houses. We tested out different materials that we could use in school to construct our own and decided that cardboard would be a suitable material as it is strong and sturdy. We then collected materials and planned out our own designs before we constructed, painted and added windows, beams and a roof. Look at our impressive finished pieces!
