Visiting RNLI Newbiggin
We had a lovely but windy day visiting RNLI Newbiggin, learning all about how they rescue people in the water and how to keep ourselves safe around the water. We then enjoyed making sand sculptures on the beach after a very windy picnic.
WW2 Museum Box
Today, we were lucky enough to receive our lone box from the museum. This box was filled with WWII artefacts which we could handle, try on and read about.
Victoria Tunnel WWII Trip
The children had a great day visiting Victoria Tunnel yesterday. They experienced what it would be like to be in an air raid during the war- listening to the sirens, hearing stories and exploring the tunnel- which stretched an impressive two miles!
