What a wonderful week the children have had learning all about King Charles’ Coronation. The children learnt all about British Values, all about the Royal family, what will happen during the Coronation, the names of all the crown jewels used and made their own crown jewels using red , white and blue play dough. We listened to Zodak the Priest: Choir of Westminster Abbey listening to the music and discussed how it made us feel.
Activities have included

– Royal role play
– Dancing like Kings and Queens
– Listening to different stories linked to the Royal family
– Sensory play in the water tray, filling different containers
– Being creative and decorating a crown and sword
– Inviting friends to a royal tea party
– Building Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle using a range of construction materials
