Over the last few weeks in school, we have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Great Fire of London. Today, we visited the Discovery Museum where we took part in a workshop about the Great Fire of Newcastle and Gateshead. We enjoyed learning about the story, looking at different objects from the Victorian times and even taking part in a puppet show to retell the story. We will be comparing the two great fires in our next History lesson.
