This half term, we have been learning about the Great Fire of London in our History lessons. We learned that many houses were made of wood which led to the fire spreading so quickly. In DT, we tested out different materials to construct our own and decided that cardboard was a suitable material because it would make our houses strong and sturdy. We collected materials and planned our designs. We then constructed, painted and decorated our houses with features such as windows and beams.
