Making George’s Marvellous Medicine!
As part of our new English unit, we are going to be learning about why George made such a disgusting medicine for his Grandma in Roald Dahl's George's Marvellous Medicine. Today, we had a try at making our very own! Yuck!
Make Do and Mend- how did clothing rations work?
Having a ‘splashing’ time at Lockerbie!
It might have been the last morning but the Yr 6s have had a great time raft building and generally getting very wet! Looks like Miss Graham has had fun too! The group sitting at the bench are looking very pleased with themselves too!
Final Activities at Lockerbie
Everyone is heading off for lunch now, before the return trip. There have been visits to the tuck shop to round things off too.
Day 3 of Lockerbie – The Fun Continues
Final day of the residential and we've been axe throwing and den building! It was curry for tea last night and everyone was settled much earlier than the night before - worn out from all the fun activities.
Muddy puddles at Lockerbie? Surely not!
Check out these rather muddy individuals! Our Yr 6s have been having a great time this afternoon doing a sensory walk and assault course! Mrs Beattie was especially impressed by the excellent teamwork and communication skills on display! Here they are...
