The Masked Reader Competition- World Book Day 2021

We are so proud of Emily from our class. She won the Olmpyic Torch competition in our class and her design was fantastic. Thank you, Miss Latto, for my certificate and my badge!
Microhabitats (Hunting for Minibeasts)
This afternoon, we had great fun in science exploring microhabitats on the hunt for minibeasts! We found lots of worms, slugs, snails, caterpillars and minibeasts. We are going to repeat this activity when it's slightly warmer to see if we see different minibeasts.
Stormy Descriptions!
In our english lessons, we are learning about the Princess and the Pea. In the story, the princess turns up at the castle door soaking wet because she's been caught in a storm. In today's lesson, we have been role playing this part of the story, with a real storm...
Our Melted Snowman Biscuits!
This afternoon, to finish our learning on Lily and the Snowman, we made snowman biscuits. We had to mix our icing sugar ourselves, which was tricky, then we used marshmallows, chocolate chips, strawberry laces and orange icing to decorate.
