Welcome to Class 7 (ARMS) - Miss Brown's Class
Class PE Day –
Miss Brown will inform parents individually once the children return to school.
Visiting 3L’s Stone Age Museum
We were lucky enough to be invited to Mrs Lynch's class' museum this afternoon, which they have set up in Hall 2. They have displayed a range of artefacts from the Stone Age and they have written some excellent descriptions of them too. Thank you 3L, for our invite!
Partitioning numbers using dienes and part, part, whole models.
Children in Need Day
We have had a brilliant day celebrating Children in Need Day. We all wore yellow or spots.
Remembrance Day Art
This morning, as part of Remembrance Day, we used oil pastels and black paper to create these fantastic poppy fields with a soldier and a cross. We even used black oil pastel to create the shadows.
Handwriting Heroes!
We are really getting used to forming the tricky 'f' with ticks and flicks. We will be practising more in our handwriting lessons next week too.
Outside art- dragon’s eyes using autumn leaves.
As part of our art topic (looking at dragon's eyes) and our science topic (looking at seasonal changes from autumn to winter), we spent our lesson this afternoon outside, creating dragon's eyes using the different colours of autumn leaves. What do you think?
