In D.T we have been designing and making bridges. We learned that we needed to ensure they were: stable, sturdy and supported. We used supports such as glue sticks, tube and cardboard to make our bridges more stable. We then tested the stability using weights.
Thank you to everyone who helped to raise a fantastic £322.20 on the Break the Rules Day. That’s a lot of pupils and staff breaking the rules! It was a however a great day for everyone!
We enjoyed using clay and the techniques we have learned to sculpt our clay pots using our hands and a variety of tools. We made the clay into thumb pots.
