Sawing wood for our bug hotels
This afternoon, we started to make our bug hotels. We had to measure the pieces of wood and safely use the saw to cut them to the correct sizes. We then used special glue to fix them to the base. It wsa very tricky but we were so sensible.
We are Researchers
Today we have been using different sources to research worms. We have been using our reading and scanning skills to select the relevant information we will need. Next week we will be writing an information text on these funny little creatures. We really enjoyed using...

Investigating sources in History
The children have been learning about the different passengers aboard the Titanic and they have been super sleuths analysing sources from the Titanic. They were able to identify which picture gave us the best evidence for different statements about the Titanic.
Fruit Salad
The children in 1.2M put all their culinary skills to good use to make a delicious fruit salad. The children have very brave tastebuds. They were very happy to try the most exotic of fruits. Well done kids.
