Christmas Decoration Morning Year 5
What a fantastic morning we have had! It was lovely to have our parents in class to help us make Christmas crafts- the children definitely kept the adults right! Thankyou for a wonderful morning.
Measurement
Our new topic is measurement. Today, we had some time measuring things around the classroom- Miss Winskill's bump now requires two tape measures!

Mystery Reader 3M
The kids absolutely loved their visit from our Mystery Reader. Mum brought cuddly friends who taught us some more French and we started reading 'The hundred mile an hour dog' aka Streaker which we are finihing off with the class. Thank you so much for our visit.
Fractions Pizza Party
We had a pizza party today, which involved looking at different pizza shapes and investigating if they could be halved and how many ways we could half them. We also recognised that 2 quarters is equivalent to one half.

Poppy Appeal Funds Raised – £389.62

World Cup fever has took over nursery. We have been practising our ball skills trying to score as many goals as possible. The children have looked at the different countries around the world that are in the competition, using a globe to locate them, then recreated...
