Welcome to Nursery
Effective Early Years development is all about learning through play and this is what we do best at Rowlands Gill Nursery!
We love to get creative, challenge and expand young minds, helping them grow across all areas of learning. We believe in working with your children; following and supporting their interests, providing an active, enabling and engaging environment.

How can I round using a number line?
Rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000 can be quite tricky, so 4B have been using number lines to see if a number is less than halfway, halfway or more than halfway to the next 10, 100 or 1000. Using that visual cue, we were able to decide whether to round...

The water cycle in action!
We have loved seeing the water cycle in action- when the sun shone on the sea, we saw evaporation and then we saw precipitation from the clouds, which fell into the rivers and streams, which flowed into the sea and then the whole cycle started all over again. It was...
Divali-The Festival of Lights
