My name is Miss Dunn and I am one of two year 1/2 class teachers. We are supported by our wonderful teaching assistant Mrs Edmondson & Mrs Livingstone.

Making Shapes in 2W

Today, we have been looking at vertices on 3D shapes. Miss W set us a challenge to make some 3D shapes using sticks and either marshmallows, blue tack or play dough. We noticed that where two edges (sticks) met a vertex (marshmallow) was created. .

We have had fun exploring the desert, ocean, Arctic and the rainforest habitats and looking at which animals live where. We completed a sorting activity and we had to think very carefully about the animals' adaptations and how they were suited to their habitat.
