Designing mats and algorithms
In Computing, we have enjoyed designing and creating mats for the Beebots and then planning and testing out algorithms. We identified the starting and finishing points of the route we wanted the Beebots to take and we were able to fix errors by debugging when necessary.
Friendship Song
In Music this half term, we have focused our learning on ‘Friendship Song’ by Joanna Mangona and Pete Readman. We enjoyed finding the beat and moving to the music before finding the notes B, G, A and E and playing them on the glockenspiels in time with the music.
How can I programme repeated patterns?
In year 4, we have been using the Logo programming language to write programmes on Turtle Academy to make repeating patterns. We planned, created and evaluated our own designs for a wrapping paper pattern.
