Trip to Saltwell Park
We all had a brilliant time at Saltwell Park on our summer trip! The children enjoyed a scavenger hunt around the park, running around the maze trying to find our friends, visiting the birds and especially the ice-cream at the end. Children were all very well mannered...
Visiting RNLI Newbiggin
We had a lovely but windy day visiting RNLI Newbiggin, learning all about how they rescue people in the water and how to keep ourselves safe around the water. We then enjoyed making sand sculptures on the beach after a very windy picnic.
Health Week and Sports Day
The children joined in lots of activities learning about keeping our bodies and minds healthy and finished with Sports Day. We had practised on the field but it was super hot so we finished our sports day in the hall where it was a little cooler for all the children...
Dogs Trust
We had lots of fun with a visit from Dogs Trust, learning about how to keep our pets safe and healthy as well as keeping ourselves safe around dogs.
Life Cycles
We have had a brilliant time learning about the life cycles of humans and animals, acting out the life cycle of different animals.
