SPORTS AND P.E.
Fellside children love their sport and their PE!
We have a strong tradition for excelling in many sports and, thanks to our involvement with the Gateshead School Sports Partnership, we have many opportunities to participate in a wide range of competitions, festivals and cluster events in an equally wide ranging number of sports including football, basketball, rugby, tennis, hockey, athletics and dance.
In this section of the website, we aim to share news of our sporting developments, successes in competitions and curriculum developments in PE.

It’s Clay Time
We worked on our clay designing skills to make our own Iron Age tile.
Stop and think about what you eat!
In science, we were using the ‘Traffic Light’ labeling system to see if the foods had too much saturated fat, sugar, or salt. We practised our persuading skills on each other so that our classmates made better food choices for their health.

Finding the beat
We had lots of fun finding the beat of different pieces of music and clapping, tapping, jumping and marching along to it. We found some songs easier to match the beat to than others.
