During this half term the children have been learning about harvest and how the festival is celebrated within the Christian faith. They started off by making a card for someone that they felt they would like to say thank you to for all of the things that you do to support them in their daily lives. We have listened to some traditional harvest hymns and some newer more fashionable songs about harvest. The story of The Creation brought up some good points about how the children feel that people could do more to look after our wonderful and unique  planet Earth.  Last week, the children had a great time going on a walk through the school grounds to find the wonderful and beautiful creations that surround us, but that we often take for granted and are overlooked. We looked, listened, felt and found  lots of different things. What can you see? Did you spot the spider?
