In Year 5 History we have been learning about the Ancient Greeks. One of our lessons was to look at ‘What were the ancient Greek philosophers famous for?’ We made sure we understood the vocabulary of philosopher, philosophy and debate before we had our own class philosophical debate on the question ‘Can kindness change the world?’ We had some rules to follow just like the Ancient Greeks did:
Rules:
· Only 1 person speaks at a time.
· You must start with ‘ I agree /I disagree with…
· No one is right / wrong.
· Listening is essential, speaking is optional.
