How do you find 1, 10, 100, 1,000 more or less?

We have been using our knowledge of place value to find 1, 10, 100, 1000 more or less of numbers beyond 1000. We used place value counters when it got tricky, especially when exchanging. We hope we don’t get in trouble for drawing on the tables 🙂
