Sorting animals into groups

We learned about the different groups that animals are part of, and we practised sorting them into their different groupings using our toy animals. We practised using the vocabulary of mammals, amphibians, fish, reptiles and birds.

Active English!

To help cement our understanding of subordinate clauses, we went active!  We made giant sentences, chopped up some ‘normal sized’ sentences and also decorated the yard with our own examples too.

We showed our support for anti-bullying week by wearing odd socks all day. We spoke about what bullying was and the importance of being kind and helping others.
