King Charles’ Coronation
What a wonderful week the children have had learning all about King Charles' Coronation. The children learnt all about British Values, all about the Royal family, what will happen during the Coronation, the names of all the crown jewels used and made their own crown...
Coronation celebrations with our school community
We started the day with craft and planting activities with our grown ups from home, then ended it with a forest school session. King Charles loves planting and the outdoors, a firm favourite of ours too!
Designing using technology
This week we used the iPads to create a pattern for the donut shell of ‘Norman the slug and his silly shell’. We had fun creating and eating our repeating patterns.
Seder Plates and Passover
We have been learning about the old Testament and spend the lesson learning about Passover. We have learned about how Jewish people celebrate and the importance of the Seder plate. We then created our own Seder plates and discussed what was on them.

Moving Vehicles
In DT we have been learning how to attach fixed wheels and rotating wheels to axles and a chassis. We practised both techniques before choosing our preferred wheels and then designed our vehicles using our chosen design criteria. We really enjoyed making our vehicles...

Badminton
Year 6 really impressed during their badminton unit in PE! They were able to transfer skills from their previous tennis unit to prepare them, helping them with: correct ready position, correct grip on the racket as well as understanding how forehand and backhand shots...
