We aim to inspire, in every child, a love of learning and enable them to achieve their goals, aspirations, and dreams, by encouraging independence, confidence, and creativity.
We believe that young children learn and develop best in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs, both in the classroom environment and in the great outdoors.

In maths, we have been learning about symmetry. Using mirrors and folding pieces of papers, we have explored what symmetry is and how to find lines of symmetry.

Searching for clues!
We enjoyed using magnifying glasses to search for the clues in the illustrations in our book ‘Grandad’s Island’. We saw lots of things in the pictures that gave us clues about what might happen next and we predicted why they might be there.

Applying our knowledge and making switches
