What is junk modelling?
Inspired by the works of Joan Miro, 4B have been junk modelling. We have created sculptures out of various waste products, bound with tape and wrapped in ModRoc. When they sculptures had set, we painted them and presented them to each other. Which is your favourite?
Claude Monet Paintings
We created a collage of our finished landscape paintings that we created in the style of Claude Monet.
Baking fun
After reading the story Goldilocks and the three bears we made flapjacks as a class, discussing what each ingredient was and weighing them out. We had lots of fun mixing them and putting them in the tin ready to cook. We then enjoyed them with our friends.

The Phases of the Moon!
Year 5 have been investigating the phases of the Moon. One of the things we did was a little activity which helped us to see the different phases - we had to do it while standing in a cupboard, because the classroom was so bright! Check it out below... IMG_0137
