This half term, we are going to be writing poetry linked with Halloween and Bonfire Night. Today, to familiarise us with what a poem is, we played lots of games to help us to remember how we know when two words rhyme. We are now experts at finding rhyming words!

Today, in our maths lesson, we used different colours to help us when writing the number sentences linked to different part, part, whole models. It was tricky to remember that when we are taking away, we usually always start with the whole number.
