SPORTS AND P.E.
Fellside children love their sport and their PE!
We have a strong tradition for excelling in many sports and, thanks to our involvement with the Gateshead School Sports Partnership, we have many opportunities to participate in a wide range of competitions, festivals and cluster events in an equally wide ranging number of sports including football, basketball, rugby, tennis, hockey, athletics and dance.
In this section of the website, we aim to share news of our sporting developments, successes in competitions and curriculum developments in PE.
Book Fair
Don’t forget the book fair is open each day from 8:30am-9:00am and again from 3:15pm-4:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there. .
Identifying Trees
We went on a tree hunt in our school grounds and used their leaves to identify them. We know that a deciduous tree begins to lose its leaves in Autumn but an evergreen tree keeps its leaves all year round.
Where in the world is the UK?
We have been using atlases and globes to find the continents and oceans of the world. We also identified that the United Kingdom is a country within Europe.
