Fellside children love their sport and their PE!
We have a strong tradition for excelling in many sports and, thanks to our involvement with the Gateshead School Sports Partnership, we have many opportunities to participate in a wide range of competitions, festivals and cluster events in an equally wide ranging number of sports including football, basketball, rugby, tennis, hockey, athletics and dance.

Today we used our nose to explore objects discussing the different smells and deciding which was our favourite and least favourite.

Researching Tim Peake
In Year 1 we have been using the iPads to research Tim Peake and write down facts about his life and work to use to plan our biographies about him.
Using Beebots
We had lots of fun using the Beebots in Year 1, practising giving them commands and seeing how they travel. We described the directions of travel using forward, backward, left and right.
Filling our bowls
Just like Handa we filled our bowls of our favourite fruit to make milkshakes to deliver to our friends. During our group times we discussed the differences between where we live and where Handa lives in Kenya.
