Welcome to Class 2 - Mrs Stephenson's Class
Class PE Day – Monday and Wednesday
Shadows
In science this afternoon, we went outside to draw around our shadows. It was interesting to see how the sizes were different from this morning.
Look at our Wheels!
We have been working hard in D.T to create moving vehicles. We used egg boxes for the chassis of our vehicle and wooden doweling for the axles. Some of us used cardboard wheels and some of us used wooden. Beep beep!
Class Intruders
Today our class was taken over by some strange looking, yellow bear cubs!
It’s raining it’s pouring…
Today, we have been making rain gauges in science. We used our measuring skills from our maths lessons last half term to create a scale. Next, we will be writing a set of instructions to tell other children how they can make rain gauges too.
Music in 2W
Body percussion has been lots of fun! Because of Covid we can't sing, so we are using our body to create rhythms whilst listening to the beat of the music.
I am proud of…
In PHSE, we were all given a special token. This token had something written on that we should be proud of this half term. It was a lovely way to end our first term together. Well done 2W!
