Our Class Blog
Paper planes
We made paper planes from our story and threw them around outside to see what verbs we can use to describe how they flew through the air. We then completed a poem about how they move focussing on past tense verbs.
Music Everywhere

Adding prefixes to root words
Turns
We have been working hard to learn what whole, half and quarter turns are and how they affect the position of objects. We played ‘Mrs Mobberley says’ with positional direction to practice them.
Learning about inspirational people
We enjoyed the stories our mystery reader chose today, learning about Jane Goodall and why she is inspirational. We discussed some endangered animals and the enjoyed reading a story about racing hamsters.
Chance to Shine Cricket
Today we enjoyed our second cricket session in school. We thoroughly enjoyed having a go at batting and fielding. Miss S was so impressed!
