The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch
We have enjoyed sharing the story as a class of ‘The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch’ as well as investigating other light sources, building our own pulley system and baking lighthouse biscuits.
Multi-skills event
Today 14 children from Reception represented our school in the Gateshead Schools Partnership multi-skills event at Gateshead stadium. It was a super morning and we found the venue to be amazing. Lots of “wows” as we entered the stadium and saw the pitch and track.

Sharing books with friends
As well as sharing books in our classroom throughout the day, Reception enjoy coming to our school library. We choose books that interest us to chat about then we always share a book as a class with our grown ups.
