Digital Writing
We are very excited to be working on laptops this half term! Today we learned how to log in and open a word document, then we found the keys needed to type our names. We even practised saving our work so we can go back and edit our writing next week.
Forest School
We have thoroughly enjoyed our first forest school sessions of the year! We enjoyed making dens, crafting, hunting for bugs, helping with the fire and more. We can’t wait to go back after half term!

Open Reading in Year 2
Over the last four weeks, the children in Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming their grown ups into school each afternoon to read with them. Not only have the children’s fluency and reading skills developed, but the enjoyment of reading has filled our classroom....
KS1 Trip to Beamish
We visited Beamish Museum today and took part in a workshop that gave us the opportunity to learn about toys of the past. We even got to play some of the games! We also enjoyed exploring the houses and schools and comparing them to life as we know it today.
